Learn how to paint a gradient background color using different shades of blue and a pouncer sponge. This is a unique background painting technique but if you don’t have a pouncer you could always just use a regular paint brush to paint a solid color background instead. You will also learn how to paint with an abstract style when painting the flower petals. This style is best when you hold the paint brush loosely to create abstract brushstrokes. The effect while doing highlighting and shading to the flower petals is what makes it really pop! What I also think is so much fun about this painting is that there are multiple ways to display it. Let me know which way you think is the best!
