How to Make a Hand Fan

This cute arts and crafts project is the perfect idea for summer! You could use any pattern or style napkin for decoration but we found these watermelon napkins from Dollar Tree that were perfect for National Watermelon Day!

Traceable: PDF Printable Fan Shape

Supplies you will need:

• 6 (or more!) Craft sticks/popsicle sticks (I got mine from Walmart)
• Acrylic Craft Paint
• 1 Napkin
• 1 piece of 12×12 scrapbook paper
• ModPodge
• Flat Brush
• Glue sticks or Tacky Glue
• An Iron
• Parchment Paper
• Drill
• Wire to connect sticks
• Scissors
• Pliers/wire cutters
• Tassels and beads (optional)

 Craft Steps:

1. Paint 6 sticks: 00:00
2. Pick napkin and separate plys: 00:20
3. Coat paper with ModPodge: 00:36
4. Iron napkin to the paper: 00:58
5. Cut out fan shape: 1:27
6. Drill hole and connect sticks: 1:43
7. Glue sticks to fan: 2:16
8. Fold and decorate: 3:02
