When life gives you Twizzlers…build a candy castle!
What started off an experiment to see if I could build a house turned into a 2 foot tall, Disney inspired, candy castle out of Hershey’s brand Rainbow Twizzlers.

We had a large donation of Rainbow Twizzlers given to us at work to hand out for Halloween, but unfortunately there were way more Twizzlers than kids that year. For some reason the Twizzlers reminded me of Lincoln Logs and I immediately wanted to try building a house. So I took them home and just for funsies, decided to try!
If I learned anything during this experiment it would be 3 things:
1. I am NOT an architect. Don’t let me build your house-but I’ll decorate for you! 
2. Twizzlers are NOT good building materials
3. It is hard and a pain in the butt to paint Twizzlers
But in the end it was FUN!
But just as the chocolate castle in the Willy Wonka movie, I also found out that with the heat wave we suffered the next week, Twizzler castles will also MELT!
